Cintel Scanner 8mm Gate HDR (requires Capstan model Cintel) (authorised resellers only)

The Blackmagic Cintel Scanner 8mm Gate HDR is a precision film scanner gate for digitising 8mm and Super 8mm archive film on the Cintel Scanner platform. Using a gentle rubber capstan-based transport, it captures film at up to 4096 x 3072 native resolution with up to 12 stops of dynamic range in normal scans, extending to an additional 3.5 stops with HDR scanning.

It also extracts embedded audio and supports KeyKode reading, making it ideal for archives, labs and post houses restoring small-gauge film. Requires a Cintel Scanner Capstan model as the host unit.
