The included gel holder features a snap-in magnetic frame design. Instead of using gaffer tape or clothespins, gel sheets are placed inside the frame, which magnetically snaps directly onto the front of the barndoor mounting dish in seconds for rapid gel changes on set.

The barndoors feature an all-metal aircraft-grade aluminum structure designed to withstand the high heat generated by powerful continuous LED COB lights (such as 300W–600W fixtures). The inner faces of the leaves are lined with a non-reflective black velvet fabric to maximize light absorption and prevent unwanted beam spill.
