LightPro Super Clamp Black 13-55mm with handle
LightPro Super Clamp – Black, 13–55mm, with Handle
The one clamp every gaffer keeps within arm's reach. The LightPro Super Clamp is a cast-alloy grip clamp built to mount lights, cameras, monitors and rigging accessories to almost any pole, rail, table edge or truss bar on set — no floor stand required.
Mount Anywhere
Tight corners, truss overhead, a balcony railing on location — if there's an edge to grab, the Super Clamp holds it. The jaw opens from 13mm to 55mm, so it locks onto everything from speed rail and scaffold tube to standard C-stand risers. Drop in the included wedge insert and it grips flat surfaces just as confidently — tables, doors, shelving, plate glass — turning any surface into a mounting point.
Rated to Carry the Real Kit
14kg payload capacity means this isn't a background-light-only clamp. It'll hold a boom arm and COB LED, a fully rigged mirrorless or cinema camera, or a field monitor without flexing or creeping under load. The cast-alloy body resists torsion, so gear stays locked in position through a full day of adjustments — not just when it's first tightened.
A Foundation, Not a Dead End
The 5/8″ hex receiver is the same anti-rotation socket used across our whole grip range, so the Super Clamp is really a platform: add a magic arm for cameras and monitors, a double-hex spigot to run two fixtures off one clamp, a V-lock adaptor to rig a battery mid-cable-run, or a hook to hang an Expan background system. One clamp, reconfigured for whatever the shot needs.

FAQ
Will it hold a fully rigged camera without drifting out of position?
Yes — the 14kg rating covers a built-out mirrorless or cinema package. Just make sure whatever you're clamping to can also carry that combined weight.
Can I mount it on something flat, like a table or door?
Yes. The included wedge insert adapts the jaw for a secure, flush grip on flat edges — no separate accessory needed.
What accessories work with it?
Anything with a 5/8″ hex fitting. A few of our most popular pairings:
- E-Image A26 Friction Magic Arm – for cameras and small monitors
- LightPro H-12100 VESA Mount Adapter – for field monitors and teleprompters
- LightPro 009 Double-Hex Spigot – run two fixtures off one clamp
- LightPro Hexagon Extension Arm with Spigot – extra reach and right-angle positioning
- Manfrotto 208HEX Adaptor – mount a tripod head flush to the clamp
- LightPro Hex Stud Steel 120mm – a longer reach-through stud for stacked rigs
- LightPro Single Hook – hang an Expan background system from truss or wall
- Kupo KS-012 Hex J-Hook (Set of 2) – hook cable runs or sandbags off the same receiver

What's the biggest pole or rail it'll fit?
Up to 55mm diameter — standard 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ speed rail, C-stand risers, and most truss tube.
Can I clamp two together to build a crossbar or rigging point?
Yes. A common setup is two Super Clamps paired with a LightPro Double Articulated Arm or a length of pipe between them, giving you a portable crossbar for autopoles without hauling in full truss.
Does it come with a stud, or do I need to buy one separately?
It ships with a 5/8″ hex stud (1/4″-20 male thread) already included, so it's ready to mount a monitor, small light or camera plate straight out of the box. Swap in the 120mm Hex Stud if you need extra reach.
Will it mark or damage the surface I'm clamping to?
The jaw and wedge insert are designed to bite securely without gripping so hard they damage most painted or coated surfaces, but as with any clamp, avoid using full torque on delicate finishes like raw timber or glass edges.
Is it the same clamp used in the "mount anywhere" campaign shots?
Yes — the balcony railing shot, truss mounts and tabletop setups all use this exact Super Clamp, paired with the accessories linked above.
