Amaran has expanded its line of LED monolights with the introduction of the S-series COB 100d S Daylight LED Monolight. This new model inherits the all-in-one design from its predecessor, the COB 100d, but comes with an enhanced LED chipset that brings notable improvements. The 100W fixture serves as an excellent key light for smaller subjects, delivering a reliable 5600K color temperature and an exceptionally high SSI score, resulting in enhanced color reproduction accuracy.

This monolight emits a powerful and concentrated point-source light, boasting an impressive output of 34,600 lux at a distance of 1 meter when used in conjunction with the hyper reflector included in the package. Additionally, it offers a range of eight lighting effects that can be easily accessed, allowing users to create various creative looks. Whether you're a videographer, content creator, or photographer, this lightweight and quiet light serves as an ideal choice, ensuring exceptional image quality without compromising convenience.

Finding the perfect level of illumination for your scene is effortless, thanks to the 0 to 100% dimming capability, and adjustments can be conveniently made using the intuitive LCD screen located on the unit itself. Furthermore, wireless control is available through the Sidus Link app, allowing you to manage the monolight's settings, activate Lighting FX, and control multiple units simultaneously from a distance of up to 100 meters using your smartphone. The 100d S provides versatile power options and is suitable for global use, as it includes a 100 to 240 VAC power supply. In situations where AC power is not accessible, it can also operate using two optional V-mount or Gold mount batteries when paired with the separately available 2-Bay Battery Power Station. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount, this monolight offers compatibility with a wide range of light shapers, further expanding its versatility.

The S-series has made significant advancements in spectral continuity, resulting in improved color quality and achieving an exceptional ultra-high SSI (D56) rating of 86. This represents a notable 19% increase in SSI compared to its predecessor. With impressive ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 99, CQS 95, and TM-30 Rf 96/Rg 103, you can be confident in the monolight's ability to accurately reproduce colors with precision.

However, when combined with the included hyper reflector, the light's output skyrockets to an impressive 34,600 lux.
