New LED Lighting at Dragon Image!

What’s new at Dragon Image?

At Dragon Image, we are always listening to our customers and importing products that will give people the most value for money in an ever-evolving industry. While all the talk has been about the recently released RED KOMODO 6K - and rightfully so -, we've recently gotten in some brand new lighting products based on the needs of the people, which are all in stock across all our stores! Whether it’s a COB light similar to the Aputure Lightstorms, an affordable yet powerful RGB light, or a new and improved LED ceiling light for your studio, we’ve introduced a new range of LED lights that will be sure to prove a great addition to your kit!

Lightpro Shark 3500

If you’ve heard of the popular Shark series, you probably know them to be a competitive alternative to the Aputure Lightstorm series. Now, Lightpro have released the Shark 3500, an extremely powerful 350W COB LED, and now even brighter than the Lightstorm 300D, for a fraction of the price. It still boasts the ability to be modified with Bowens mount accessories, however it does have a larger control panel that needs to be powered by two high-capacity V-lock batteries.

Godox VL150

On the topic of COB lights, Godox have introduced the VL150, an extremely affordable 150W LED light, as well as the same ability to be modified just like the Shark. This output actually means it is more powerful than the Shark 1200 and the Aputure Lightstorm 120D, however you wouldn’t know that from the price. Sitting at $665, it is in fact less than half the price of an Aputure 120D, and about $400 less than the Shark 1200. It also contains silent fan technology, making it much quieter than other lights. If you’re after an affordable LED light that packs a big punch and won’t annoy your sound recordist, the Godox VL150 is definitely the way to go.

Lightpro FL-60S 60W Fresnel

If you need a small and punchy fresnel LED, this light is the way to go! Powered by either AC mains power or Sony NP-F batteries, it produces 60W of power, making it equivalent to a 300W HMI. As a Fresnel, it has full spot and flood controls, has barn doors attached for additional creative control, and its sleek design makes it easy to transport. Priced at only $295, these lights are extremely affordable and will make a great addition to your kit in those instances that you need a little bit of punch to fill in a frame!

Lightpro S60 RGB LED Panel

For years, quality RGB lighting has been somewhat inaccessible for most filmmakers - the cheaper options don’t provide enough power to be completely effective, and the extremely good ones are often too expensive. Now, we’ve introduced a solution that is accessible to all types of filmmakers with the Lightpro S60 RGB LED Panel! Priced at $895, this panel features 360 RGB colours that can be used to create dynamic and creative lighting effects. With 60W of output power as well, it doesn’t shirk its work in providing bright vibrant colours, giving you immense creative control! It also has a bi-colour feature with a colour temperature range of 3200K to 5600K, making it a great option if you are needing a standard LED panel with high-quality white light.

Lightpro 40B LED Tracklight

An upgraded version of an old classic. The 40B track light is the perfect solution if you’re needing a studio space in your office space, classroom or anywhere you have limited space and need to keep everything off the ground. It has 40W of output, and an upgrade to the original 30W that the 30B had. As part of the powered ceiling track system, we are able to install these lights into your space, giving you soft, even LED lighting, which is perfect for green screen shoots such as training videos, interviews, advertisements and other piece to camera videos.
