Building A Professional Film & TV Studio For Your School

With state-of-the-art equipment and industry-based projects, students are able to undertake an authentic learning experience in the area of Film, Television and New Media across Sheldon College.

Just recently we have completed a professional Film & TV studio for Somerset College.

Equipped with high-end remote-controlled soft studio lighting, RGB lighting and ceiling mounted pantographs, this studio gives students and teachers the ability to easily control and move the lighting through a track system, without the use of any stands getting in the way.

This year, in an exciting upgrade of our facilities, the College has converted one of its classrooms, Cordner 1.1, into a dedicated, industry quality, film studio. This venture coincides with the construction of the Design Building and adds to the development and expansion in this area for student use.
